Nations ForgeNATIONAL ECONOMIC
REVIVAL STARTS WITH
THE PEOPLE WHO WILL
BUILD WHAT COMES NEXT.

South Africa cannot solve youth unemployment, economic exclusion and failing local economies by preparing young people for jobs that may no longer exist. We need to prepare them to create value, build livelihoods, solve real problems and generate opportunities for themselves and others.

In short

Nations Forge is the wider social and economic mission behind Tycoon Academy. It is a practical framework to help South African young people create value, build livelihoods, solve real problems and generate opportunities — starting with children and expanding into adult economic participation.

The mission

An economic revival framework built from the youth upwards.

Nations Forge begins with children, but it does not end there. Through Tycoon Academy, young people learn to spot opportunities, develop solutions, work in teams, understand money and build real ventures.

They do not simply study entrepreneurship. They experience different industries, create things people value and learn what it takes to earn income from their abilities.

The result is a generation that enters adulthood with practical experience, commercial confidence and the ability to participate meaningfully in the economy.

From capable children

When a young person learns how to create value, the benefit reaches far beyond that individual.

It strengthens families. It creates local businesses. It develops future employers. It gives communities more people who can solve problems, generate income and build opportunities where they live.

Our long-term goal is to create a continuous path of economic capability: capable young people, employable adults, stronger businesses, sustainable livelihoods, resilient communities.

This is how economic renewal can begin from the ground up.

The five-year direction

Tycoon Academy is the first active pillar of Nations Forge.

Over the next five years, the framework is intended to expand into connected adult initiatives focused on:

Practical employment

Workplace readiness and the skills employers actually need.

Financial capability

Responsible money management, saving, budgeting and planning.

Small business growth

Starting, improving and growing real enterprises.

AI for opportunity

Using AI as a tool for productivity, competitiveness and income.

Together, these initiatives will create a lifelong pathway from early commercial education to meaningful economic participation. The vision is to develop a framework that can be activated through schools, municipalities, community organisations, government programmes and private-sector partnerships across South Africa, before expanding into the rest of Africa.

Built to scale

Nations Forge is fully supported by Groe Global.

Groe Global is an international franchise and business growth organisation with experience across 23 countries and hundreds of franchisees.

Its systems, operational knowledge and international scaling experience give Nations Forge the infrastructure needed to grow consistently across communities, municipalities and regions without losing the quality or purpose of the programme.

This is not an isolated intervention designed to help a handful of children. It is a framework designed to strengthen economic capability across generations.

A practical role for every sector

Nations Forge creates a common platform for measurable, sustainable economic development.

Different organisations can contribute to the same larger objective: enabling more people to build sustainable livelihoods and contribute to the economies around them.

National and provincial government

Support broader youth and adult economic participation.

Municipalities

Activate the framework around local economic development priorities.

Companies

Contribute through enterprise development, supplier development, CSI, ESG and youth investment.

Schools and community organisations

Become local points of delivery and trusted anchors.
