The skills employers say they need are shifting away from content recall.
Global employer surveys now put analytical thinking, resilience, flexibility and creative thinking at the top of the required-skills list, ahead of specific technical knowledge. Those are precisely the capabilities that only appear when a child has to act under real uncertainty.

AI fluency is becoming a baseline expectation for school-age learners.
International guidance for schools now frames AI as a competency to be taught deliberately — including critical evaluation and ethical use — rather than a tool to be banned. Our method teaches judgement first, then the tools.

Enterprise training works best when learners run something real.
Reviews of entrepreneurship education find that practical, venture-based programmes produce stronger effects on entrepreneurial capability and mindset than classroom-only instruction, particularly where participants take real decisions with real consequences.

South Africa specifically needs young people who can create work, not only find it.
South African youth unemployment remains among the highest in the world, while national entrepreneurship monitoring repeatedly flags low early-stage entrepreneurial intent and weak entrepreneurship education as constraints. Teaching a child to build and sell something is a direct response to that.

- The programme was designed and is run by Sean Goldsmith, a South African founder and operator, not adapted from a purchased international curriculum.

- Through Sanusi, our schools initiative, we work with independent schools across Southern Africa on entrepreneurship, critical thinking and AI fluency.
- Present in the education conversation
- We have engaged with or spoken at the ISASA Heads Conference, the ATS Zimbabwe Heads Conference, St Peter's, Cornwall Hill College, Somerset College, Somerset House, The Bay Academy and Bridge House.

- Learner ventures take real payments through a supervised marketplace and learner Wallet. The measure of a term is what a child built, sold and learned — not modules completed.
